Transformational Government – Primer published

As part of its work on rethinking the future of eGovernment and the need for a different approach, the OASIS technical committee for developing a “Transformational Government Framework” (see my earlier post), has now published a first draft of a ‘Primer’ that covers the main issues and concepts raised.

The Committee will start work now on a formal standard – probably using the ‘patterns language’ paradigm discussed in committee, and that will provide a suitable stepping stone between a policy document – useable and readable by senior policy and decision-makers – and a formally cast and fully machine-readable document in RDF or other expressive syntax.
