From the article: “Internet Service Providers (ISPs) and broadband carriers are also unwilling to allow a user’s private broadband connection to be used publicly.”
Excuse me? Who is paying for this? If I’m paying for a particular bandwidth, isn’t up to me with whom I decide I want to share it? I wouldn’t accept the electricity company stopping me letting someone top up their mobile phone battery so why should ISP’s be able to dictate or restrict use of bandwidth for which I’ve paid?
