Personal Data Model

Meeting with the British Government Home Office (Passport and Identity Cards Service) today to discuss, together with government representatives from Austria (my current host administration), France and Germany, to discuss common issues around electronic identity management.

My input is to have a first discussion with public authorities on some emerging ideas around “user centred” personal data management, aiming at gaining a better understanding of what constitutes “personal data”, how it is identified, authenticated, used and managed; and policies regarding privacy and public policy concerns.

The linked slide deck is a “work in progress” and is posted more for discussion rather than as a statement of absolute faith.
